Today we walk out from the cottage and head directly down towards the coast. My goodness, this place smells incredible. I have my nose to the ground and am pulling like a steam train. Dad seems less impressed for this to be happening so close to the cliff edge so we head down into Morgan Beach, a secluded place where the waves are high and Dad takes a very public pee in front of a slightly startled looking tourist lady. Not pictured.
We all decide it is too cold so head back and jump in the car to go exploring.
Mum is driving and makes us all dizzy as we circle around Cardigan's one way system until fortunately she discovers how to turn the steeing wheel in a different direction and we head off to Cilgerran castle. This is a very fine castle. Bit draughty. But I meet this chap....
Have a good roll around in the grass
And stand looking handsome on a wall
Back into the car we go and head to Poppit Sands. Now this is paws down the best beach a beagle has visited. Lots of soft sand for my paws and plenty of places to explore which don’t involve wading into the sea. I leave that to Chilli.
I climb some rocks with Dad and pose for some photos. Being the handsome photogenic creature that i am and all.
After this we are all freezing so head back to the wonderful pub of yesterday and this time we are allowed inside! This pub is the Ship Inn in Tresaith, a very dog friendly place (in the Bar only). Log fire available with lovely wooden flooring but a beagle would appreciate softer flooring for napping purposes. On our way out we meet three HUGE dogs who Mum and Dad say are very well behaved, while giving me and Chilli that sideways look at the same time. I have no idea why, we were model dog pub visitors. This time.......
Then home time - we have a run around the field, lose a tennis ball and then head inside for chicken and mozzarella pasta for dinner. And snoozes.
